Who are our Clients, Candidates, or Companies?
The answer is both. Search/Recruiting organizations tend to be company oriented or candidate focused. Talent community thinking suggests we deal with people. On one hand, we interact people are actively seeking another job; sometimes folks will listen to our “pitch” with respect to an opportunity and sometimes folks are just plain happy where they are. On the other hand, we work with folks who are seeking to hire talent. And then, sometimes it is a two way street.
